What's really the issue here?

What individualizes us that makes us desire such opposites, what balances those things and makes us unique. What of those things can be considered sane, and at other times insane? The definition seems to change based on social status, money, and overall surroundings.

What about era, what was considered one thing is not considered the same. You have large amounts of violence that we see on TV and Video games and that is considered normal because we got used to it, and yet back only years ago there were fights and even riots about freedoms to have these values of expression.

We found ourselves always conflicted because of things like war. It is one thing to play a violent video game but when it comes to war, depending on what view you have and what background you are from it could be the very foundation of what you believe is necessary and vital to life. The same can be said about animals and how much of the world eats meat and dairy products.  Would our kids watch animals slaughtered on tv and find that normal and our enjoyable, for most of us the answer would be no.

We are so concerned about what violence is shown in video games but if you were to show them a violent movie depicting these actions in a much more vivid and real to life scenario, that is far scarier to someone. Why is that? Because the youth understand what a video game is, at least most, provided they do not have underline mental health issues that are not being addressed or aware of.
We do not often give enough credit to the youth to respect that they do know some right and wrong, some of what we teach, and some what they learn from others. They will not become outstanding citizens if they are not able to learn and make mistakes that provides them with the knowledge of these decisions.

We fight for freedom, we fight because we believe we are better than someone else, we fight to defend ourselves. Taking a life, no matter what the reason is still taking a life, and yet we blame others for this happening, or we walk proudly for our achievements, which is right, and which is wrong? Modern technological advancements blurred many lines in some ways and hid a lot of the others.  We turn a blind eye so that we do not get bogged down by things that can be affected should we take notice, we can be affected, should we take notice.

What makes us proud is different for everyone, what makes us afraid is different for everyone, what keeps us alive is everyone. In the world we live in today there are many people that are trying to rewrite history and erase it like it did not happen, there are those who define themselves by their gender, a gender they have created. To have a unique voice, they required stepping out of their own bodies as a rejection to their mind, being held back by their surroundings and those that interfered. To those who want to hate on other genders, other races, we are still human beings, do we not all bleed the same blood, do we not shed the same tears, do we not have our hearts broken the same, as was said to me from an early age, we are the same in the dark, in darkness there is no defining difference, why do we have to be labelled to be good for something, good at something. Loving ourselves is a bigger part than anything we can model and remodel about ourselves.

The wealthy lived in pursuit to live forever and looked for ways to do so, when mortality kicked in, they found ways to pass it on, by one means or another, now we look to change our image to show the world what they want us to believe in, since when did it require genitalia to be more than something. I am all for unity, prosperity and being equal but do not forget for one second what brought you here. Good or bad, it took an egg from a woman, and a sperm from a man to create your life in whatever form you were given, whether it was done in a lab or done traditionally the right or wrong way, you were given life, and because of that you are here, and without that you would not be.

To those out there who had a real parent or parents that raised you and taught you to the best of their ability and you in turn repay them with disgrace and dishonor by blaming them as parents, blaming your gender identification on them or as simple as a woman unhappy with the man and yet had an amazing father who fed and supported her and loved her unconditionally, let me just say, your pain must run deep but remember what you are fighting for most in life, equality, you can still have equality and still have been helped by someone.

There is no one person in the world that was born into existence by magic, raised to be an adult with such freedoms as you may use and abuse with no help from anyone. The first year alone if you were not fed, clothed, and bathed by someone your chances of survival would be days, certainly not the age you can hurt someone else. We fight about privilege; we fight about the benefits one had over the other and depending on what part of the world you were brought into meant your surroundings inevitably influenced your personality and your views on the world.

How you were raised and your surroundings does have an effect but it does not define you, it does not define your capability and what you do with your life and for those that blame their upbringing and don’t make any real changes, that is your life to do with what you will, there are those who get breaks, some who take them, some who miss them, and some who don’t get the chance. With the life you are given, you must do what it takes to make it yours, even the wealthiest find that after the party stops and they have all the ownership in the world, there is still never enough to make them happy.

Wealth only matters when it is used right, does not matter what kind of wealth, it is still the same, wealth of knowledge can be useful and a burden, wealth of friends can be true, and they can be fake and quite hurtful. Wealth of love can be amazing but leave you wide open to a lot of failures. We are the wealthiest when we share for the betterment and not to use and abuse others negatively, and of course opinions of even those two attributes are subjective. After all, we are still only human and we must always be aware of these things, when we attack ourselves and others, they are human beings just the same. Defending ourselves is indeed important, but when does it become defending for a reason, vs the desire to conquer.

We have one home at this time in our lives, one earth and even though we are looking to grow and move on as we savagely deplete the earth for all we can before doing so, let me remind you that most significant changes like leaps forward in that regard don’t happen in one lifetime, because we are so consumed with what we get out of our own lives, we don’t spend enough time working together to accelerate these endeavors and is why it takes us so long to ever get off the ground as a species. The dreamers got us wanting, and those with ambitions who could really set it out there got us closer than ever, but the dreamers, they could get us the rest of the way if we included them, we valued them, and we embraced them.
